UltraFast Kits from GL Sciences, Inc. provide a vast improvement in speed for standard gradient HPLC systems, allowing results on par with the new "ultra" high pressure systems being promoted by the major HPLC instrument manufacturers, with the exception that UltraFast kits require a very modest investment.

By combining GL Sciences' INERTSIL high-speed 3µ columns and the unique Caloratherm dynamic heating device from Selerity Technologies, we can help you achieve extremely rapid chromatography and a level of productivity that was impossible in the past.

As came as no surprise to column manufacturers like
GL Sciences, it turns out that extremely rapid separations are made possible through the use of rugged, high-porosity columns that also provide very rapid mass transfer. System plumbing has to be optimized so that NO dead volume exists, and after choosing the proper eluent system, it is critically important to use a sophisticated temperature-control system to make certain that the capabilities of the column and the eluent composition are optimized for the best separation possible. Not to downplay the substantial improvements in high pressure durability and gradient mixing that some of the newer systems have achieved, but the bottom line is that the perfect interplay between the HPLC column (stationary phase) and eluent system (mobile phase) remain the heart of an optimum HPLC separation.

GL Sciences' UltraFast HPLC Kits are available in three preconfigured formats, in addition to variations on these formats to meet your particular needs, as requested by contacting GL Sciences for customization of a kit.  UltraFast Kits are fairly easy to install, but some of our customers are more inclined to diving into their system with a set of mini-wrenches than others.  Hence, we also offer the option of having an UltraFast expert visit your site to install the system and show you how to operate the Caloratherm dynamic eluent heater.

GL Sciences' also offers accessory fittings kits for stainless-steel and PEEK-based MS splitters.
